About
For the work you put into your vehicle.
A receipt can tell you what you bought. Your notes can tell you what you did. Torkmark brings that history alongside vehicle readings, so you can see what changed after the work.
From routine maintenance to the next modification, the goal is to help you understand your vehicle and keep a record of the care you put into it.
The problem
What happened to a vehicle is hard to hold on to.
Ask what happened to a used vehicle and you get a story. A previous owner says the cooling was upgraded. A listing says the suspension was redone. A folder of paper shows what was bought, which is not the same as what went on, which is not the same as what it did.
The people worst served by that are the ones who did the work themselves. They know exactly what went on and in what order, and they have nowhere to put it that keeps the readings alongside it.
So Torkmark keeps both in one place: what you entered, and what the vehicle reported around it. Neither one is asked to stand in for the other.
Three kinds of record
Where each line came from.
Torkmark keeps three kinds of record, and this page says where each one comes from. That is about source, not worth: your own record of the work is the backbone of the whole thing.
A reading is not a check on your workmanship, and it does not prove what caused a change. It is another angle on the same vehicle, taken at a different moment.
What Torkmark is
A product, and the company building it.
Torkmark is an Android app for keeping a vehicle’s build history and reading what the vehicle reports. It is in alpha and in closed testing on Google Play in the United States.
Torkmark is independent and veteran-built, with no investors and no parent company. Work began in Washington State in 2026.
It is built by a veteran who has spent thirty years keeping infrastructure networks alive, in military, federal and public-transit systems. That work is where the habit comes from: write down what changed, when, and what it did, because the next person to touch it needs to know. Contact goes through support@torkmark.com.
The substance
The product is the argument.
What ships today, what is designed and not built, and where each reading comes from.
